About The Maryland Forestry Foundation

The Foundation promotes sustainable forestry through active legislative advocacy, administers the largest tree-planting operation on private property in the state, directly supports several Urban Forestry programs, manages the largest college Fellowships in the field of Natural Resources in the mid-Atlantic and acts as the fiduciary agent for Maryland Forestry Board programs such as the Natural Resources Careers Camp for high school students.

The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a member of and responsible to the Maryland Association of Forest Conservancy District Boards but must act independently in its nature.
